  # Job Posting: Database & Application Operations Engineer (DBA / Infrastructure O&M) ## I. Job Responsibilities 1. Own full-lifecycle database O&M: routine health checks, backup and recovery, monitoring and alerting, fault diagnosis, performance tuning, SQL optimization, and version change implementation; ensure stable database operation. 2. Design and implement the database high-availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), backup-and-recovery, and monitoring systems; produce O&M standards, operating procedures, and emergency response plans. 3. Continuously identify architectural risks and performance bottlenecks; optimize the underlying physical architecture, HA/DR architecture, distributed storage, and database architecture. 4. Take charge of database version upgrades, cross-platform migrations, and heterogeneous database migration solution design and implementation; own data synchronization and Change Data Capture (CDC) solution rollout. 5. Implement security controls such as database permissions, access auditing, and data encryption, ensuring data availability and data security. 6. Own application system O&M, including environment management, release deployment, system changes, component upgrades, and emergency incident response. 7. Participate in the planning, process design, and rollout of the overall IT O&M system, advancing O&M standardization and automation. ### Key Priorities for the Next Six Months 1. Take over routine database O&M, continuously handling incident resolution, SQL optimization, backup and disaster recovery, and monitoring governance. 2. Improve and roll out database O&M standards, monitoring strategies, DR plans, and emergency response plans. 3. Continue architectural risk screening and performance bottleneck remediation; optimize HA and distributed database architecture. 4. Fully take over O&M of all business application systems, including environment maintenance, releases, system changes, and emergency incident response. 5. Advance the IT O&M system build-out, roll out O&M processes and operating standards, and progressively strengthen O&M governance capabilities. ## II. Qualifications ### Education / Certifications Computer-related major, associate degree or above. ### Professional Experience More than 3 years of experience in server and database O&M. ### Core Competencies 1. Proficient in Linux operating systems and familiar with Windows Server; skilled in OS tuning, log analysis, and common hardware/software troubleshooting. 2. Skilled in Docker and Kubernetes cloud-native technologies, capable of container orchestration, resource scheduling, fault diagnosis, and application containerization O&M. 3. Familiar with virtualization and hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI): VMware, Huawei Cloud platform, Sangfor HCI, etc.; private cloud platform O&M experience; basic knowledge of major public cloud service O&M. 4. Proficient in mainstream relational and NoSQL database O&M: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB; skilled in backup and recovery, HA setup, slow-SQL optimization, and troubleshooting locks, transactions, and concurrency issues. 5. Skilled in deployment, O&M, performance tuning, and monitoring/alerting of middleware and data warehouse components such as Redis and Doris; experience implementing CDC data synchronization solutions preferred. 6. Master the fundamentals of networking, operating systems, and databases; able to independently locate complex online faults, with hands-on experience in major production incident emergency response. 7. Familiar with ITIL O&M management concepts; able to participate in the design and rollout of O&M processes, policies, and standards. 8. Basic scripting ability (Shell / Python preferred); O&M automation build-out experience is a plus. ### Comprehensive Qualities 1. Able to withstand business O&M pressure and respond to emergency incidents. 4. Rigorous and detail-oriented, attentive to production change risks, with a strong security awareness. ### Preferred Qualifications 1. SAP HANA O&M experience or data warehouse O&M experience. 2. Familiarity with monitoring stack setup (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, etc.). 3. O&M experience with large-scale distributed systems or hybrid cloud (private cloud + public cloud).
